1. The service
BoxerConnect helps amateur boxing clubs list their boxers and find fair matches and tournaments with other clubs at home and abroad. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. Who can use it
Accounts are for bona fide amateur boxing clubs and their coaches and officials. You confirm you are authorised to act for your club and to enter the information you provide.
3. Your responsibilities
- Keep your boxer and club information accurate and up to date, including who is fit to fight.
- Before listing an under-18, confirm your club holds the parent or guardian's verifiable consent to record the child's details (name, date of birth, weight, medical-clearance expiry) and to share them with other clubs to arrange bouts - including, for a child in the United States, consent valid under COPPA. You warrant you hold that consent, will provide evidence on request, and you indemnify us against claims arising from its absence. Only adult club staff may enter data; children must not be given access. See safeguarding.
- Use other clubs' contact details only to arrange genuine boxing matches and events - not for marketing, bulk messaging, harvesting or any unlawful purpose.
- Keep your login secure and do not share it outside your club.
4. Membership and payment
- To qualify for the founding offer, a club must list at least 5 boxers and activate membership at checkout before the published deadline. A payment card is required. The first 12 months are free, then membership renews automatically at the price shown at checkout unless cancelled. Clubs that do not meet both conditions pay their plan price from activation.
- A card is required to search, contact clubs and promote shows. After any free period, membership renews automatically at the advertised price for your plan unless cancelled.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. You can update your card or cancel at any time from the membership page; cancellation stops future renewals and is not refundable for the current period unless required by law.
- Promoting your own shows is included in membership, subject to fair-use limits that keep the listings genuine.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no scraping, no attempts to access data you are not entitled to, no harassment, and nothing that puts a child at risk. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or our safeguarding policy.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the club and boxer data you enter. You grant us the permission needed to display it to other member clubs as part of the matchmaking service and to operate the platform.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service running but provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or safeguarding reasons.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; we will tell members of significant changes. Continued use means you accept them.
